Pledge:

We have gathered here because we believe, first and foremost, that we are a WE. We are members of a Diaspora: connected to the wealthiest continent in the world by familial history, spiritual affinity and/or personal inspiration.

We have gathered from diverse vocations and nations to take our place in a community that will—harnessing the talents within it— change the course of cultural history. Understanding that every Cultural Revolution has begun with a convening of like minds, we have gathered here to do nothing less than create lasting change.

Through our work as a community— and our jubilant celebration of our community— we shall show the world what we already know: that our Diaspora's moment is now.
